Carter Cormier

Hey! Welcome too my E-portfolio! My name is Carter Cormier and I am student athlete. I am currently in my first year in open studies, deciding whether i want to do business or kinesiology for my education. I was born in Brooks Alberta than moved too Kindersley Saskatchewan when I was 10. At the young age of 14, i moved away from home too chase my hockey dreams and it started in Notre Dame high school for 2 years. Afterwards I was all over the place like Selkirk, Brooks, Blackfalds and Flin Flon, which finally led me to Red Deer to pursue my education.

 

With travelling around so much for hockey I developed a passion for working with others and being on a team. Being involved in all these different communities has taught me lots about myself and given me a ton of life experiences.

My life experiences to date have given me all different types of useful skills. I have experience in customer service which taught me patience and problem solving skills. When it comes to people skills, I have developed simple and effective methods of holding a productive and captivating conversation. Most importantly, my willingness to learn and to be able to take criticism. I take my time while learning a new skill to be able to pass on correct and knowledgeable information to others and to deepen my skill set to be able to fit in any situation i find myself in.
